Terms of Service

These terms form a binding agreement between you and World Dashboard ("we", "us", or "our"). If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

World Dashboard aggregates and displays real-time Earth and space hazard information, including earthquakes, tsunamis, solar flares, geomagnetic storms, extreme weather, coronal mass ejection arrivals, asteroid close approaches, wildfires, and volcanic activity, on an interactive 3D globe. It also offers optional email alerts and a weekly recap.

The information shown is for general awareness and education. It comes from public scientific sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. It is not a substitute for official warnings, professional advice, or your local emergency authorities. Never rely solely on World Dashboard for life-safety decisions.

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• Provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
• Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Maintain one account per person and do not share credentials.
• Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to harm others.
• Attempt to access data or systems you are not authorized to reach.
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute large portions of our compiled feeds for commercial use without permission.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise try to extract the underlying code or source data pipelines.
• Interfere with the service, overload it, or introduce malware.
• Circumvent billing for premium features.

A premium subscription is available for $9.00 USD per month, billed and processed by our payment partner Polar.

• Billing: payment recurs automatically each month until you cancel.
• Renewal: by subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method.
• Cancellation: you can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current paid period.
• Refunds: fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
• Price changes: if we change the price we will tell you in advance. Continued use after the change confirms acceptance of the new price.
• European consumers: where premium digital content is supplied to you immediately, you consent that delivery begins without delay and waive any statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for that content.
• Taxes: any tax required by law may be added or included. Polar's own terms govern the billing relationship between you and Polar.

The service integrates with and links to third-party services, including Google for authentication, Polar for payments, and public scientific data providers. These third parties have their own terms and policies, which govern your use of them. We are not responsible for their practices or for the accuracy of third-party data.

We own the World Dashboard application, including its design, code, and compiled data presentation. Public hazard data belongs to its respective sources and is shown under those sources' terms. You retain ownership of the information you submit, such as feedback and preferences.

The service is provided strictly "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that hazard data will be accurate, complete, current, or timely. Hazard feeds can experience outages, gaps, or delays. You acknowledge that reliance on the service for safety or operational decisions is at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $9.00 USD, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of someone else's rights.

You may delete your account at any time from the account menu in the app. Doing so cancels any active premium subscription and removes your personal data. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or for any reason with reasonable notice. On termination, your right to use the service ends; premium access expires at the end of the current paid period and is not refunded except where required by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Israel. Before filing a claim, both sides agree to try to resolve the dispute informally for thirty (30) days.

We may update these terms. We will change the "last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date confirms acceptance of the updated terms.
